when the charismatic duo of naveen and tiana ended up a guest to a neighboring kingdom, neither of them expected to get wrapped up in rumpelstiltskin’s nefarious plans. but having been a friend to facilier, he was curious to see the downfall of his lesser acquaintance. in storybrooke, tiana is known as penny and the cook at granny’s cafe. she works open to close most days and wishes for nothing more than to have her own place. but in a small town, competitive businesses don’t mix well because the townsfolk are loyal to what they know. she hopes to one day save up enough money to make it out of storybrooke to have her own place. and to escape the perverted cad that hangs around the cafe - louis (naveen). he flashes his smile and has even ruby melting. louis seems to have it all together on the outside, but on the inside, he’s a wreck with trying to find his place in the middle of being indebted to mr. gold. if it’s not him, it’s regina. louis often wishes there was a way to escape, like penny, but it seems no one can leave their sleepy little town.
