Frankly, I wouldn’t be in a rush to put someone else’s name on the damn door, either. Jessica Pearson is a black woman who is running a multi-million dollar law firm. Y’all don’t know how much of an achievement this is. Hell, she’s probably a first, actually, and folk are mad she’s not putting a so not ready man’s name on the door next to hers? After what - not even a year after Hardman left? How long has he been senior partner? Dude’s not ready, as proof that he let Hardman of all people get into his head like that even knowing how he screwed over Jessica and the firm, and is throwing the world’s biggest temper tantrum because Jessica is calling him out on his actual unpreparedness. Jessica is the boss; and if she never puts his name on the door, that will be in her purview because she is the boss. Let’s not forget the man hired someone who never went to law school and then didn’t have the grace to tell her about it - and then threatened to leave as if he were in the right. Her loyalty to Harvey has put her in a precarious position with her firm because of that, and now folk want him rewarded for it? Man…for that alone he should probably never have his name on the door. I don’t think people realize just how big of a breach of trust that is…on top of the other breaches of trust. Yeah, Harvey can deal without having his name on the door for now.
